Fishing Seasons
May through October is ideal for Sailfish however sails are caught year round. Marlin fishing is good year round, peak months being July thru October and January, February. May is the very beginning of our rains, mild and typically on shore. The rains gradually increase and peak during the month of October which can have rains 70% of the time. If there are a lot of Hurricanes moving west from Puerta Rica to Cancun, Costa Rica will have a lot of rain. No hurricane winds but rain. By mid-November the rains have totally stopped until April-May. Temperatures are typically in the mid to high 80's.
